Opening its doors in 1992, The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta was one of the first hotels in the popular Marina Zone. Popular among families and couples, this property offers 280 rooms distributed in 14 floors, a 400 foot private beach and lush gardens on what used to be a coconut plantation.

The “Junior Suite” at The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta feels more like a standard deluxe room at best. The hotel is definitely showing its age, and the rooms could use a serious update to bring them up to modern standards. Calling these standard rooms “suites” is a bit of a stretch, and at around $200 per night next month, they’re not exactly a budget-friendly option either.
