For a limited time, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer has returned their new member sign-up promotion offering 1000 KrisFlyer miles for each new member through the end of March 2025.
The campaign goes until March 31, 2025 and the NEW member will automatically receive the 1000 miles within a few weeks (no transaction necessary according to the T&C).

This member referral promotion pops up every now and then in irregular periods. The amount of miles offered is usually rather small and 1000 miles isn’t really the world. Nevertheless it’s better than nothing and every little bit helps.
When you sign up for KrisFlyer you have to use a code in order to get the miles deposited:

This campaign is slightly different from previous ones, which usually involved referral bonuses that also required a transaction. Not so this time.

We have previously covered this entire campaign with various promotions, but I thought it prudent to write up this sign-up bonus separately as plenty of new members join every month.
Krisflyer is especially interesting if you can transfer credit card points from various financial partners, as redemptions can be quite decent value.
If you’re eligible for Marriott Bonvoy or ShangriLa’s elite member fast track, you can also take advantage of this bonus.
Conclusion
This year’s Singapore Airlines member sign up promotion will be active for one month only and will end on March 31st. Members must be signed up by then and receive miles automatically as per the T&C quoted below.
Overall, I consider KrisFlyer a very worthwhile program to investigate. Many loyalty programs have lost their attractiveness in recent years, but despite small changes and award chart adjustments, SQFK is still solid.
It all depends on how easy you can accumulate your miles and in what numbers. However, for redemption purposes I find it very useful that award flights on SIA itself do not incur any of these pesky fuel surcharges.

KrisFlyer 10 Million Members Campaign 1000 Welcome Bonus Miles Promotion Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”)
- These Terms and Conditions govern the KrisFlyer 10 Million Members Campaign 1000 Welcome Bonus Miles Promotion (the “Promotion”) organised by Singapore Airlines Limited (“SIA”).
- This Promotion will be carried out on singaporeair.com during the promotional period commencing on 7 March 2025, 0000hrs (GMT+8) and ending on 31 March 2025, 2359hrs (GMT+8) (“Promotional Period”).
- Participation in this Promotion is limited to those who have successfully signed up for a KrisFlyer membership account on singaporeair.com during the Promotional Period (each, a “Participant”) with the eligible promotion code provided by SIA.
- Eligible Participants will receive 1000 KrisFlyer miles each (“Bonus Miles”), which will be credited into their KrisFlyer accounts within four (4) to six (6) weeks of signing up.
- Any KrisFlyer membership sign-ups received outside of the Promotional Period will not be considered for this Promotion, and such Participants will not earn the Bonus Miles. Each Participant is only entitled to claim the Bonus Miles once in this Promotion.
