There appears to be a surprising new offer from Marriott that discounts stays by 25%. The booking, stay, and expiry dates of this promotion are unclear.
I was looking for rates for the Hong Kong Airport Marriott earlier today and saw that they had dropped from last week, but the rates didn’t appear on my legacy Starwood account versus Marriott.

When I pulled up the actual rates on my LIFETIME TITANIUM Marriott Bonvoy account, I saw a note that this rate was “New Member Exclusive Offer 25 Percent” and only available for online bookings.
Marriott has not sent me any communication about this offer, but it just appeared today.

I checked, and once I had made the booking, the 25% off discounted rate didn’t appear at this or any other hotel.
Conclusion
My legacy Marriott Rewards account has had two elite qualifying nights this year. Due to drastic and extreme Bonvoy point devaluations over the past 12 to 24 months, I have felt that other chains provide much better overall value.
I have no problem staying with them occasionally at locations where they provide the most convenient options and if the price is right, as is the case here.
The Regal would obviously be the best option for staying at Hong Kong International Airport as you can walk there from the terminal, but my transit this time is 14 hours, so the comfort of the stay plays into the equation as well.
So, if you are planning to stay at a Marriott property soon, perhaps it is worth checking if this rate plan has also been loaded into your account.
