JetBlue has launched a buy & gift points sale with a 120% Holiday Bonus for purchases made through February 24, 2025.
Members can buy and receive up to 200,000 TrueBlue points every calendar year and you can buy up to 200,000 TrueBlue points per transaction (you can do several) before any possible bonus.

The price of a TrueBlue point purchased under the 120% bonus is 1.36 US cents each.
Conclusion
During previous sales, the price of TrueBlue points has always been higher than the value you can use them towards JetBlue flights (dynamic pricing).
They now make more sense because you can book Qatar Airways and Etihad flights using them.

Points can be purchased from Points.com Inc. for approximately $32.25 per 1,000 points. Prices are in U.S. dollars and include a 7.5% tax recovery fee on the value of the points purchased. GST/HST will be charged to Canadian residents. QST will be charged for Quebec residents. POINT PURCHASES ARE NONREFUNDABLE. Valid only for new TrueBlue point purchases by TrueBlue members with their account in good standing; points can be purchased for a member’s own account or as a gift to another member’s account; not valid for point transfers.
