IHG has launched a new Fast Track offer for 2025, allowing select members to qualify for Silver, Gold, or Platinum with fewer nights.
A reader forwarded to us a screenshot that shows that you can get instant Silver, five nights and you have gold, and Platinum with just 10 nights. The status earned from this promotion is valid through the end of 2026.

Offer Details:
Instant Silver status = usually requires 10 nights
Gold status at 5 nights = usually requires 20 nights
Platinum status at 10 nights = usually requires 40 nights
IHG One Rewards Elite Benefits Matrix:
The real elite benefits at the IHG One Rewards are reserved for Diamond members who are eligible for a hot breakfast for two.
Many of the IHG One Rewards benefits, such as lounge access and suite upgrades, are part of Milestone Rewards, which you can choose every 10 nights from 20 through 100 nights consumed within a calendar year.
Ambassador Program
The easiest and fastest way to IHG One Rewards Platinum status, which requires no stays at all, is to sign up and pay for the InterContinental Ambassador program. The fee is $225, and it comes with InterContinental benefits such as confirmed 4 PM check-out, guaranteed one-category upgrade, and free weekend night voucher.
Conclusion
IHG One Rewards program is competitive compared to Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott, but you need to get to the Diamond level, choose the Annual Lounge Pass at 40 or 70 nights, and then utilize the Suite Upgrade certs.
This fast track doesn’t help with Milestone Rewards because it doesn’t award you bonus nights but rather faster qualification towards Silver, Gold, or Platinum.
