SAS launched its EuroBonus Millionaire campaign on October 8, 2024 (read more here), to celebrate the airline’s switching from Star Alliance to SkyTeam.
The campaign is valid through the end of the month and allows EuroBonus members to earn up to 1,000,000 bonus miles if they fly on 15 different alliance airlines.

SAS EuroBonus SkyTeam Campaign: Earn Up To 1,000,000 Bonus Miles October 8 – December 31, 2024
A friend of mine who has completed the “challenge” received the email above on Thursday. It is the first acknowledgment that he has successfully fulfilled the promotion requirements (and that, hopefully, the miles will be posted soon).
What has been your experience with promotion?
Have the partner flights been posted to EuroBonus without a fight, and how good have SkyTeam alliance members been acknowledging the SAS stratus, as I have heard some mixed reports?
Conclusion
I could have completed this challenge had I not had other fights booked for this fall (Oneworld RTW) and built an itinerary of places I want to visit by incorporating 15 SkyTeam member airlines.
My friend will probably write a report about his EuroBonus Millionaire (at least he promised) journey and how much it costs after everything is factored in, such as position flights.
I think this promotion was great, but I would have preferred to have received better advance notice. I am sure SAS also factored this in. If they had given proper advance notice, more EuroBonus members would have completed it.
