Hilton and Delta have launched a new offer that invites select Honors members to get a Silver or Gold Medallion for 6 months and a fast track offer to keep it through January 31, 2026.
Delta Silver comes with limited benefits, while Gold is a SkyTeam Elite Plus tier that grants the holder all SkyPriority services, such as business class check-in, extra luggage allowance, and lounge access on international itineraries (at least when not flying on Delta).

You can keep the Silver of Gold Medallion status through January 31, 2026, by earning the following MQD (Medallion Qualifying Dollar) Requirement:
- Silver: Earn $2K MQDs during the 6-month comped status period.
- Gold: Earn $4K MQDs during the 6-month comped status period
MQDs can be earned not only on Delta but on other partner airlines as well and on cobranded cards:

Conclusion
Marriott has partnered with United and Hyatt with American Airlines.
It is an obvious choice for Hilton and Delta to offer some reciprocal benefits. It wouldn’t surprise me if a Hilton Gold and/or Diamond membership is available to select Medallion members as well.
Delta Gold is a meaningful status, as it allows access to all SkyPriority services alliance-wide, and even Silver comes with some benefits, such as luggage.
However, although both tiers offer complimentary upgrades, I would not expect to get any, as US airlines are very good at selling their domestic first-class seats (often at a very discounted price).
