It’s Thanksgiving Week again, usually one of the busiest travel periods in the United States that comes with both stressful situations and good shopping opportunities in the travel sector.
After having a nice turkey dinner, let’s have a look at what the various travel-related companies have in store for us this year.
The famous “Flying Turkey” (pictured above) always makes a comeback, and we usually feature him during each Thanksgiving season.
Over the last couple of years, airlines, hotels, rental cars, and baggage stores have had very good Thanksgiving (Black Friday) sales, so we’ll keep monitoring if there are any hot deals once again this time around. Many of such deals have already gone live, and we posted them as well.
Until then, the LoyaltyLobby team wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving 2024 in the circle of your family & friends, wherever you currently are in the world.
Those of you who will go on the road for either business or personal travel, good luck and a safe trip! Thanksgiving, just like all other busy periods, provides good opportunities for getting bump vouchers on oversold flights, a competitive upgrade environment, and long security lines. Maybe a bit less so this year, given what’s still going on, but nevertheless, it’s a good time to appreciate your airline and hotel elite tiers a little more.
If you’re currently traveling or residing abroad, maybe a local restaurant will provide an interesting Thanksgiving option, and I’ll have a festive Grand Hyatt Bangkok Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet later which is kind of an annual staple for me.
Now enjoy your turkey, folks! Happy Thanksgiving & gobble, gobble!
