Brokerage leader eXp Realty isn’t slowing down its expansion in 2025. The company announced on Wednesday the addition of brokerage leader Abel Gilbert and ONEPATH Realty to its growing global network.
ONEPATH Realty may be an independent brokerage, but it’s no stranger to posting big numbers. The Miami-based brokerage has closed $1.77 billion in sales since Gilbert founded it in 2018. That number includes $187.2 million in closed home sales in 2024 alone, totaling 312 units
Gilbert also brings leadership experience that goes beyond his brokerage. The leader still serves as a Zillow Agent Advisory Board member since starting in 2021. In addition, Gilbert served as president of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and residential governor for Miami REALTORS. Per his LinkedIn, Gilbert was also a broker associate with RE/MAX Advance Realty from 2015 to 2017.
Adding Gilbert and ONEPATH Realty furthers eXp’s efforts to expand its growth trajectory in 2024, company leaders said.

This move follows a trend of recruitments made by eXp Realty this winter. In late December, the company recruited Kris Caldwell and The Apollo Group, a high-producing Colorado-based team. eXp Realty also added superstar agent Joshua Smith weeks before.
