British Airways thought it was a great idea to announce significant program changes just before the new year, with only three months’ advance notice, so most Executive Club members wouldn’t realize the significance.
The airline has been busy sending out emails “Announcing The British Airways Club” that tries desperately putting lipstick on a pig but utterly failing on it.

Companies should give proper advance notice of any significant changes to their loyalty programs. It is highly unethical, if not criminal, to announce changes like BA has done only three months in advance.
