American Airlines has launched a new offer to get AAdvantage members to travel this March.
You can earn 500 bonus Loyalty Points for each American Airlines flight in March 2025 for up to 10 flights and 5,000 Loyalty Points.

Note that only flights booked after registering for this offer count, and Basic Economy fares are excluded. The flights also must be both operated and marketed by American Airlines.
Conclusion
This is a last minute offer from American Airlines to get AAdvantage members to book travel.
I assume that the March travel numbers must be on the soft because why would they otherwise launch an offer like this?

- Eligible flights will receive an additional 500 Loyalty Points per segment flown in connection with this promotion, up to a total maximum of 5,000 additional Loyalty Points.
- Register by March 31, 2025, for your flights to count toward this promotion.
- Offer applies to eligible purchased, published fares with a departure date between March 1st, 2025 and March 31, 2025.
- You must register for this promotion before creating a flight reservation or placing a flight on hold for that reservation to count. Flight reservations created and ticketed before registration are not eligible for this promotion.
- Flights booked in Basic Economy won’t count toward this promotion.
- Loyalty Points will be awarded within 14 days after the eligible flight segment is posted to your AAdvantage® account.
- Offer only applies to eligible flights marketed and operated by American Airlines or American Eagle flights. Flights marketed and/or operated by codeshare partners are not eligible for this promotion.
- Flights that don’t earn AAdvantage® miles won’t count toward this promotion.
