Aegean has launched its Christmas Calendar—yes, they call it Christmas—for 2024, in which Miles+Bonus can participate daily through December 24.

- If I forget to answer one question, can I answer two questions the next day?
No, each question will only be active for 24 hours starting at 09:00 in the morning and ending at 08:59 the next day. For example, the first question will appear at 09:00 on December 10th and will be available until 08:59 on December 11th where the next question will appear and so on.
With the exception of December 24th when the question will be active until 23:59.
- I saw a star on my profile while I was playing. What does that mean?

After you log in, you will see a bar on the top center of the page which displays your progress. If you have 1 – 11 points you enter the draw for the small prize and if you have 12 – 15 points you enter the draw for the big prize.
- How will I know if I am a winner?

No, you can only see how many points you have collected here at the top center of the page. You get informed on whether your answer was correct or wrong when you submit your answer.

The Organiser’s computers (including computer sub-systems etc.) shall be the official timer of the Competition defining the Start Time, the End Time, the time of active submission of entries and displaying entries on the Competition app. So if you have answered within the above time limit, the point will normally appear on the bar on the top left corner of the page and a message will be displayed on your screen.
- I have collected 12 points and saw a message that I was in the draw for the big prize. Do I need to keep playing and answer the rest of the questions correctly?
You can continue playing just for fun. If you have gathered 12 points, you have successfully entered the draw for the big prize.
Terms and Conditions of this promotion:
The terms and conditions for this promotional campaign have been deposited with Athens-based notary public Haralambos Fotopoulos (47 Solonos St., GR-106 72, Athens, tel. 210 3616900) and Competition Terms Submission Deed no. 3.125/9.12.2024 was drawn up in witness thereof. Any participant or third party may obtain a true copy of such Deed at their own cost.
1) Scope of Competition
“AEGEAN AIRLINES SA”, with registered office at the Athens International Airport, Building 57, Spata, Attica [General Business Registry (“GEMI”) no. 1797901000, TIN: 094468339, Athens Tax Office for Corporations (“Athens FAE”)] (hereinafter: “Organiser”), organises the promotional campaign/competition under the title “A year on board” (hereinafter: “Competition”), in cooperation with “BOLD OGILVY S.A. COMMUNICATION & ADVERTISING”, a company engaged in advertising services (hereinafter: “OGILVY” or “Co-organiser)), with registered office in Athens (10, Emathias Str., GR -153 44) [TIN: 094101900, Athens Tax Office for Corporations (“Athens FAE”)]. The competition will start on Tuesday, 10 December 2024 at 09:00 (EET) and will end on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 at 23:59 (EET). There will be 50 winners in total. 25 winners will win unlimited individual travel (hereinafter: Grand Prize) to any destination within the network of AEGEAN or Olympic Air, while 25 winners will win two (2) tickets (hereinafter: Small Prize) to any destination within the same network.
More specifically, the Organisers invite to the competition via the https://en.aegeanair.com/flight-deals/offers-competitions/a-year-on-board/ anyone who meets the following conditions, i.e.:
- A) Anyone being a MILES+BONUS member: to log in to their account or, if not a MILES+BONUS member, to register and log in;
- B) Start the daily quiz and answer the question displayed on the screen.
- C) At 09:00 a.m. every day a new question will appear, which will remain active until 08:59 the following day, except for the question displayed on 24/12/24, which will remain active until 23:59 of the same day.
- D) By playing every day, members collect points. Anyone with 1 – 11 points will enter the draw for the Small Prize. Anyone with 12 – 15 points gets an extra star and enters the draw for the Grand Prize.

2) Eligibility
Anyone over the age of 18 and a MILES+BONUS member is eligible to participate in the promotional campaign / competition.
Individuals falling into the following categories are excluded from the Competition:
(a) Persons under the age of 18;
(b) Persons who have expressly declined these Terms and Conditions;
(c) The employees of the Organiser and its subsidiary “Olympic Air”;
(d) The employees of the Co-organiser;
(e) The employees of the Organiser’s affiliates and Ogilvy’s affiliates.
In the latter case, the aforementioned Companies will not be liable to anybody due to inappropriate use of this service.
The Organiser reserves the right (but is not required) to exclude from the Competition, at any stage thereof, persons who, in its view, may have used (or attempted to use) unlawful means regarding their participation or who breach any term of this article.
“Unlawful means” shall mean, inter alia, cooperation with other persons, use of devices, arrays, computers and/or software to facilitate automated or multiple participations without human intervention, etc.
In all events, the Organizer may exclude any user/visitor/participant from the Competition using any lawful means.
It is hereby specified that participation in the Competition does not require purchase of any product and that no fee is to be paid by the participants.
3) Prizes
There will be 50 winners in total. 25 winners will win unlimited individual travel (hereinafter: Grand Prize) to any destination within the network of AEGEAN or Olympic Air, while 25 winners will win two (2) tickets (hereinafter: Small Prize) to any destination within the same network.
Ticket winners may not designate a substitute to receive the prize nor request the exchange of the prize for money or any other exchangeable things.

The Organiser reserves the right to announce the names of the winners via the Social Media and www.aegeanair.com. By participating in the Competition, participants are presumed to have granted their consent to such disclosure of their names.

Any prior publication of the result of a draw or of the name of an alleged winner on the Competition webpage does not howsoever finalise the result nor affords such persons any right to raise any claims.
4) Prize terms
4.1) Tickets for 25 Grand Prize Winners
The unlimited airline tickets are one-way or round-trip, economy class tickets and apply to flights operated exclusively by the Organiser and its subsidiary (Olympic Air), on a point-to-point basis or with a stop-over.
Tickets are available free of charge, with the right to book any flight within the Organiser’s or Olympic Air’s network.
The trip must take place by 31/12/25.
Tickets cannot be issued with an open date. Under no circumstances may the class of the ticket be modified.
Airport taxes and charges (as in force at the time) are included in the offer and are not payable by the winner.
Tickets will be booked and issued exclusively through the AEGEAN website (aegeanair.com) on any flights with ticket availability. More specifically, the winner shall enter the winning code they have received by email, in the field “Discount Code” appearing in the “Buy a Ticket” field.
The winning code will be strictly linked to the Miles+Bonus account number of each winner. In order for the discount code to be redeemable, the winner must first be logged into the Miles+Bonus account.
It is explicitly agreed that the air tickets may not be sold or exchanged for cash. The tickets are only valid for flights operated by the Organiser or its subsidiary (Olympic Air), and cannot be exchanged for tickets with another airline.
Ticket changes are subject to the current terms governing the fare on which the booking was made.

5) Start/end date of competition – Duration
The Competition/Promotional Campaign will start on Tuesday 10 December 2024 at 09:00 (EET) and will end on Tuesday 24 December 2024 at 23:00 (EET). The Competition computers (including any automated subsystems – count-down web tools made available to the Organizer) shall be the official timer of the Competition defining the Start Time, the End Time as well as the time an entry is actively sent or appears to have been received by the Competition registration application.
It is expressly stated that, after the end date of the Competition, as stated in the terms and conditions of use on Organiser’s webpage, https://en.aegeanair.com/flight-deals/offers-competitions/a-year-on-board/terms-and-conditions/ during the Competition closing procedure, no entry will be accepted by, or be binding upon, the Organiser as timely submitted. The Organiser has a right to suspend the online registration form and terminate the action at any location whenever they consider this advisable or necessary, without prior notice to the participants.
6) Amendments to terms and conditions
The Organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions whenever they consider this appropriate.
7) EXPRESS DECLARATION – CONSENT – ACCEPTANCE BY THE PARTICIPANTS
All participants in the Competition hereby fully and unreservedly accept these terms and conditions of use. Persons who do not accept the terms and conditions of use should not participate in the Competition.
Furthermore, all participants explicitly and unreservedly acknowledge, state and accept that:
(a) The personal data provided in the context of this Competition may not belong to any third party, whether a natural person or legal entity, but only to themselves;
(b) They are over the age of 18;
(c) Their privacy is neither violated nor degraded in any manner whatsoever due to their participation in the Organizer’s Campaign, in which they are taking part using their personal data;
(d) They do not infringe personal data or privacy rights of any third party;
(e) They do not infringe intellectual property rights of any third party;
(f) They grant their consent and authorization to the Organiser to promote the Competition and its results through the print and electronic press and through the Internet for its entire duration. The Organiser reserves the right to use and publish any news relating to the Competition;
(g) They consent to and authorise the Organiser to commercially exploit any relevant events through advertising, without prior notice, free of charge. The Organiser also reserves the right to publish audiovisual material from the draw and the prize allocation event.
8) Publicity
The terms of participation in the Competition have been deposited with Athens-based notary public Haralambos Fotopoulos, 47 Solonos St. (Solonos GR-106 72, Athens, tel. 210 3616900).
The draw to nominate the 50 winners will take place on Wednesday 08/01/25 and the winners will be notified by email. Any participant in the Competition or any third party may obtain an exact copy of this deed at own expense.

9) Withdrawal of Notice – Amendments to Terms – Liability
The Organiser may withdraw the Competition notice, in whole or in part, or amend these terms (including Competition duration and draw dates), replace the prize offered (tickets) with another prize of equal value any time during the course of the Competition or after it is ended. In this case the Organiser shall not be liable to indemnify the winners to be nominated in the particular draw.
The Organiser shall bear no liability under any circumstances for any direct or indirect losses, expenses or costs which may arise from any interruption, malfunction, delay or any other reason with regard to the Competition prizes. Furthermore, the Organiser shall bear no penal or civil liability towards any winner(s) or third parties, for any accident and/or loss and/or physical injury or material damage they may incur directly or indirectly in relation to the prize or from any other cause.
It is expressly agreed that, after the end of this Competition or upon lapse of any further date that may be set following postponement or change in the duration of the Competition, no entries shall be accepted and any entries submitted after such date shall be considered null and void and shall not be binding on the Organiser and/or any third parties. In this case, by participating in this promotional action, participants irrevocably declare that they have no rights and hold no claims against the Organiser nor are entitled to demand continuation of the Competition or delivery of the prizes or any other form of indemnification.
10) Trademarks – Intellectual Property
Participants shall neither have nor acquire any rights whatsoever with respect to the trademarks, names, marks, logos or other insignia of the Organiser or the Co-organiser.
11) Applicable Law – Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any contractual or other relations arising as a result of their implementation shall be governed by Greek law as far as all participants are concerned. Any dispute to arise from or in connection to this Competition shall be referred exclusively to the Courts of Athens, Greece, including in relation to non-Greek residents.
By participating in this promotional campaign participants state that they have gained thorough knowledge of all Comprehensive Terms of the Competition and that they unconditionally accept such Terms in their entirety.

Participants state that they have gained thorough knowledge of all Terms of the promotional campaign and that they unconditionally accept such Terms in their entirety.
Each participant states that he/she holds no claims whether current or future, against Aegean or Ogilvy or against their executives, employees or performance agents with respect to the conduct of this promotional action, the implementation of its terms or from any other cause associated directly or indirectly with this promotional action.
Each participant explicitly consents and agrees to the simultaneous assignment and full and final transfer to the Organiser, free of charge, of any and all intellectual property rights or related rights over the visual material described above. The Organiser shall have a right to use such material at their free discretion to create digital or printed advertisements or display it on the internet and/or in the press or on television.

- Types of personal data we collect
For your participation in the Competition, our Company collects and processes your name, your e-mail address and date of birth, as such information is disclosed by you in the relevant participation forms.

- Data retention period
We shall retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which you have provided your consent.

Your personal data will be deleted by Ogilvy immediately after the Competition is completed and the winners are nominated.
