Accor sent out an email to ALL members in Europe about the results of the recent membership survey.
It shouldn’t be surprising that if you survey your program members and they take the time to reply, they will likely have a favorable view of the program.

There are usually consistently lower prices available through OTA’s and other channels that Accor doesn’t match for one reason or another.
The on-property benefits are likely the most important for Platinum and Diamond members.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the points are not the most important with Accor, as this is an entirely dynamic program for earning and redeeming points, and you can pretty much forget all aspirational awards unless you spent $100K+ with them.
Room upgrades don’t usually come with “enhanced” amenities, but you typically have more space. Not sure about the comfort factor?
Well. The most valuable way to use ALL points is obviously for hotel stays (especially for stays that otherwise wouldn’t earn the full points). I’m not sure why I would stay more frequently at Accor hotels to earn points because this is essentially a cashback program.
I have never looked at these events, but friends have redeemed something similar with other programs, such as Marriott and SPG.
The welcome drink vouchers always end up in my bag, as was the case at the Savoy the other Friday. I see them as only a way for the hotel to get you to their bar to use cash.
