Accor and Qantas launched a partnership in 2021 (read more here) that allows members of both programs to earn hotel points and airline miles for stays and flights.
Other aspects of this relationship include various status fast tracks that have been offered throughout the years, and the conversion of ALL points to Qantas miles that has now been enhanced (positive!).

Accor has many airline conversion partners, and quite often, the ratio of ALL points required to each mile is 2:1.
The ratio is better with some airline partners, and you previously could convert 2,000 ALL points to 2,000 Qantas miles.
This is now better, however. You can convert 2,000 ALL points to 2,500 Qantas miles, and this doesn’t appear to be a temporary enhancement.

Conclusion
Hotel points are usually best when used towards stays, but getting outsized value out of ALL is challenging, as the points are valued at 2 cents each, and redemptions are dynamic.
It can make sense to convert some ALL points to Qantas miles if you are short when trying to redeem for a significant award.
