Hertz Gold Plus Rewards has rolled out a new perk for their elite tier members, allowing both Presidents Circle and Five Star members to gift their very own elite level to two other members by December 31, 2024.
Each member can grant status to two other customers only by 12/31/24 and the recipients must be actively enrolled Gold Plus Rewards members to claim status.
The granted status from this referral will then be valid from January 13, 2025 – December 31, 2025. After that time, recipients must meet regular tier qualifications to remain a President’s Circle / Five Star member.

Based on the T&C, the status for the nominees will kick in on January 13, 2025, and be valid for an entire calendar year. It has to be completed by December 31st.
Hertz’s status is seriously vital to rent from the company, and to be honest, I would not rent at Hertz under any circumstances without the status benefits associated with the account. It would be a miserable experience.
