Conclusion
This Volare program is on its way out, as ITA Airways will become part of the Lufthansa Group, and the loyalty program will be folded into Miles & More.
The Lufthansa and Italian governments finally reached a deal last week, waiting to be approved by the EU.
Once they get this approval, Lufthansa will control ITA, which will exit SkyTeam to join the Star Alliance.
