Qantas announced in January that changes to their award charts would be coming on August 5, 2025 (read more here), but they did not disclose any specifics beyond some examples.
Qantas has now released the new charts that will be in effect on August 5, 2025, and the award prices are up generally between 5% and 20%. However, you must give Qantas credit for publishing these award charts well in advance, offering program members ample time to use their miles.

Qantas New & Current Award Charts:
Conclusion
These Qantas changes seem reasonable, considering the program devaluations over the past 6 to 12 months.
With many programs, the miles required to access premium cabins have become entirely unreasonable, to the point that I see no reason to participate in them.
The issue with Qantas awards is those sometimes ugly carrier surcharges (previously called fuel surcharges) that can be in the hundreds or thousands.
