IHG recently launched a bonus elite qualifying nights offer (read more here) that allows select members to earn 10 bonus nights.
Now, there is another Fast Track offer for members whose tier just dropped from Diamond to Platinum. By staying eight nights by March 20, they can regain their previous status.

The main benefits of the Diamond tier are the 100% elite points bonus and welcome amenity that can be a hot breakfast for two.
Suite upgrades and lounge access are part of the Milestone Rewards that members can choose based on the nights consumed within a calendar year.

IHG has had similar offers previously, and I mentioned this when IHG was selling elite qualifying points in late 2024.
IHG has quite cleverly structured the program. Some benefits are based on tier (breakfast), while others are part of milestone rewards (suite upgrades and lounge access).
Eligible members have six weeks to complete this challenge.

*To participate in the “Stay 8 Nights, Get Diamond Status Through 2025” promotional offer (the “Offer”), an individual must be an IHG One Rewards member and must be invited to participate in the Offer. After receiving an invitation, the member must register their member number in advance in order to be eligible for the Offer. The promotion period begins on February 3, 2025, and ends on March 20, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). Once a member registers for the Offer, the member will be able to earn IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite status, and start enjoying the associated benefits, by staying eight (8) qualifying nights at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts during the Promotion Period.
The ” Stay 8 Nights, Get Diamond Status Through 2025″ promotional offer (the “Offer”) provides you with an opportunity to earn Diamond Elite status through the end of 2025 when you stay eight (8) qualifying nights during the Offer Period following registration. To participate in this Offer, you must be an IHG One Rewards member and must be invited to participate. After receiving an invitation, you must register your member number in advance in order to be eligible for the Offer. The “Offer Period” is from February 3, 2025, through March 20, 2025. A member can only register once. The member must register before completing any stays during the Offer Period in order for them to count towards the Offer. By registering for the Offer, a member is accepting these Terms and Conditions.
To be a qualifying night under this Offer, the room night must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay and must fall within the Promotion Period. Completed stays prior to registration or outside of the Promotion Period are not included. By way of example, a member who registers for the Offer on February 4, 2025, and has a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay at a participating hotel with a check-in date of February 1, 2025, and check-out date of February 6, 2025, will be credited with three (3) qualifying nights, for February 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The member will not receive credit for February 1st or February 2nd because those nights were prior to the Promotion Period.
For purposes of this Offer, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) per night. Participating hotels include all IHG® Hotels & Resorts, with the exception of those Six Senses® Hotels Resorts Spas and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that do not participate in the IHG One Rewards program. Existing bookings at The Venetian Las Vegas made before January 1, 2025, will count as Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays if the stay period falls within the Promotion Period. Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Offer. Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Offer. If more than one member who registered for the Offer checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn status under this Offer for those nights that qualify. Diamond Elite status awarded under this Offer will be reflected in the member’s IHG One Rewards account following completion of the number of qualifying nights required to achieve such status, as described in these terms and conditions. Once a member receives a Diamond Elite status upgrade through this Offer, the member may keep such status through the end of 2025. Any Elite status at any level for the 2026 calendar year and beyond must be earned by the member in accordance with the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions or, if applicable, pursuant to a special promotion offering the member an opportunity to attain such status for the time period prescribed. The time needed for awarding status can vary with each promotion, so please allow up to 6 weeks for the status to be reflected in the recipient’s member account.
A member’s participation in the IHG One Rewards program and this Offer are subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be found here or by visiting ihgonerewards.com. IHG may retract status granted under this Offer, and withdraw any points associated with such upgraded status from the member’s account, if status was awarded in error or if the member was not eligible to participate.
