Bangkok Airways Flyer Bonus has brought back its annual New Year Flight Awards Sale and also paired it with an offer for a credit card conversion bonus when members transfer their banking points.
The compaign offers a bonus for points transfers from various financial institutions through January 10, 2025 and bookings can be made at a substantial discount from 18-21 January, 2025.

Bangkok Airways FlyerBonus isn’t the most rewarding program but there can still be value for some awards depending on the routes passengers want to fly, for example from Thailand to the Maldives.

While I’m usually critical of the program, these rates are very competitive and rather worthwhile. They’re even more amazing if you already have some BKk Airways points in your account without the need to transfer any in.
Conclusion
Bangkok Airways again launched a New Year’s sale, and this year, an additional campaign was attached to it. The campaign offered members who wanted to transfer their credit cards from various Thai banks an additional bonus for converting points.
In my opinion this mostly makes sense when you try and book flights between Bangkok and Male or maybe Koh Samui to Hong Kong (and vice versa).
Transferring points from eligible Thai credit cards to Bangkok Airways really isn’t great value. I just transferred 100k UOB Privimiles to 84,000 Cathay Pacific Asia Miles last week (Singapore Airlines or Thai ROP would have been an option, too), and that’s a much better value.

Credit Card Conversion

The 2025 FlyerBonus Points Top-Up Bonus for members who convert their credit card points into 25,000 FlyerBonus Points will have their membership accounts credited and updated within seven days of the conversion window closing on 10 January 2025. On the date of intended points transfer, cardholders must have normal account status and no record of default payment

The bank and credit card partners of the FlyerBonus programme reserve the right to give, cancel, withdraw or restore benefits under this offer.
