Opened on April 25, 2003, Grand Hyatt Tokyo was developed as part of the Roppongi Hills project, a large-scale urban complex designed to attract both international visitors and local business travelers. The hotel features 387 uniquely designed guest rooms, 10 restaurants, a Grand Club Lounge, a business center, Nagomi Spa & Fitness club, and 17 multi-purpose event spaces.
Its architecture and interiors were created in collaboration with global designers including Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, Takashi Sugimoto, and Tony Chi, bringing together a mix of international and Japanese influences. Throughout the hotel, guests can find approximately 200 art pieces curated around the theme “East meets West,” reflecting the property’s global outlook. To remain current, key renovations were made in 2011, 2014, and 2016 to update the lounge, guest rooms, and event spaces.
Located on the 6th to 9th floors, this modern and quiet corner suite offers 85-square-meter (914 square feet) of space with a separate living area, a generous workspace, a rain shower and a deep-soaking tub. Other features include a king-sized bed fitted with soft Egyptian cotton linens by Frette. This is a premium suite. Please see World of Hyatt program terms for upgrade eligibility.
