Qatar Airways has launched a buy miles Flash Sale, allowing Privilege Club members to get up to a 50% or higher bonus (depending on the number of miles purchased) through February 2, 2025.
Qatar Airways Privilege Club switched from Qmiles to the Avios ecosystem in 2022 (read more here) and allows members to transfer miles between QR and BA programs after linking accounts (read more here) and from BA to various other programs, such as Iberia and Finnair.

Finnair recently had a sale that allowed everyone to buy Avios at 1.05 euro cents each, a lot less than during this Qatar sale.
Conclusion
Avios are much more expensive if bought through Qatar Airways than via British Airways or Finnair sales, and you can move them between various Avios accounts.
Remember, though, that Qatar Privilege Club often has more favorable redemption rates than other Avios programs. Therefore, it’s best to compare and then instantly transfer the miles to the program with the cheapest rates before ticketing.
