Marriott has traditionally allowed members to convert their points to airline miles but has recently launched two-way conversions with several airlines that allow you to convert miles to Bonvoy.
Qatar Airways is the latest airline partner for two-way conversions, and you can now convert Avios (also from BA, IB, and AY) to Marriott Bonvoy at a 2:1 ratio (two Avios for each Bonvoy).
You can access Qatar’s page for conversions here and Marriott’s page for conversion partners here.

Remember that you can link your Qatar Airways Privilege Club account with British Airways and freely move Avios between them. You can also link your BA accounts with Iberia and Finnair and move Avios without any fees.
This means that you can convert British Airways, Iberia, and Finnair Avios to Marriott Bonvoy by funneling them through BA to QR.
Qatar’s Conversion Instructions:
The information on both Privilege Club and Marriott Bonvoy accounts must match. The accounts are linked when you do your first transfers, and you cannot link your Bonvoy account later with another Privilege Club one.

Conclusion
If you decide to convert Avios to Bonvoy at a 2:1 ratio, you will probably lose roughly half of their value.
This may work, however, in your favor if you need some Bonvoy for a fifth-night free award or if you have found a Bonvoy redemption that provides outstanding value.
Terms and Conditions of Marriott Bonvoy & Qatar transfers:
For the purposes of these terms, “Miles” means “Avios” as defined in the Privilege Club Terms and Conditions.
Only a Main Member, holding a valid Membership account in the Qatar Airways Privilege Club or Student Club program (collectively, “Privilege Club”), is eligible to convert Miles into Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program Points at a ratio of two (2) Miles to one (1) Point.
iii. Members may convert up to a maximum of five hundred thousand (500,000) Miles to Points per Member per day.
Conversions require a minimum transfer of one thousand (1,000) Miles.
Once Miles are converted into Points, the Member’s Privilege Club account will be linked to the Marriott Bonvoy account. Future conversions of Miles to Points will only be allowed to the same Marriott Bonvoy account used for the first conversion.
To unlink a Privilege Club account, Members should raise a service↗ request or contact Qatar Airways↗.
vii. Members can unlink their Privilege Club and Marriott Bonvoy accounts no more than two (2) times per year.
