Japan Airlines (JAL) today announced changes to its JAL Mileage Bank award requirements for tickets issued on or after June 10, 2025.
The mileage increases are significant for international first class tickets that can now cost up to 140,000 miles one-way.
You can access JAL’s page for the new rates here (international) and here (domestic).

Domestic Awards for Tickets Issues From June 10, 2025:
Conclusion
Japan Airlines would do everyone a favor if they simplified their domestic award charts, which are overly complicated.
There is little availability for JAL’s first-class awards, but those are truly aspirational. I remember taking JAL’s long-haul first from Sao Paulo to New York when they still served this route 15+ years ago.
