Conclusion
Smiles is the “frequent” flier program for Brazilian airline GOL, but it seems that at this point, they are trying to be more of a “general” program to collect points and miles.
They used to have great award deals with partners, and you could purchase their miles and redeem on airlines such as Qatar and Korean, but those times are long gone.
At this time, the program doesn’t make any sense for anyone other than those living in Brazil.
