Chase and American Express in the US, and the latter in some other markets, have targeted cashback offers out for select merchants monthly/continuously.
One of my Chase cards often has IHG and Marriott offers (not cobranded with either), and new ones were added yesterday for three Marriott brands.
You can access Chase here, and Marriott here.
Note that these offers are member-specific, available for ONE purchase each, and credited as a rebate to your Chase account.
Sheraton:
The offer is 5% cashback with a $39 maximum that you reach by spending $780.
AC Hotels:
The offer here is the same 5% cashback with a $39 maximum.
Autograph Collection:
You can also get 5% cashback here, but the maximum is $37. You can reach this by spending $740.
Conclusion
I don’t often stay at AC Hotels or Autograph Collection properties, but I had one stay at each of these brands last year.
Sheraton stays are more frequent, and I had already planned to stay at one in the Americas before the end of the month, which will now earn 5% of the rate back.
These offers often were for 10% cashback before but appear to be now capped at 5% (or at least are in my account). Chase offers are targeted but tend to be rolled out to eligible member accounts in batches.
