Marriott and Sonder signed a deal in April 2024 (read more here), under which more than 200 properties would become available through the Marriott distribution system and Bonvoy participating.
Sonder Bonvoy participation began in October (read more here), when you could book through Sonder channels and request points and elite night credits, but no elite benefits.

Marriott shared more information today about Sonder Hotels and Apartments Bonvoy participation once it is available through Marriott platforms (not yet).

Conclusion
I am glad that the points earnings and elite night credits align with Marriott legacy brands, unlike the StudioRes unveiled yesterday (read more here).
The 4 PM Platinum and higher member guaranteed late check out is only until 2 PM at Sonder Apartments but until 4 PM at hotels.
Let’s hope these properties will soon be bookable through Marriott channels, as I cannot imagine many Bonvoy members booking them directly through Sonder.
