Aviation Geeks Rejoice: ANA FESTA Collectibles Store At Tokyo Haneda Airport
SHARE

The other week, I arrived late at Tokyo-Haneda Terminal 2 and had to wait a while for my Limousine Bus to Shinjuku when I discovered the ANA FESTA store, a collectibles shop with everything ANA All Nippon Airways related.

I obviously visited shops before that sold everything the aviation geek desires but this was another level, they even sell frozen ANA inflight meals to heat and prepare at home.

ANA Festa also has a dedicated website (in Japanese) that you can find here.

It’s not unusual for airlines to have their own stores with articles that are branded with the respective airline logo (for example, the Lufthansa Worldshop) but I feel that ANA is taking it to the next level.

Here are some of the items for sale:

Posters with various ANA aircraft in large format.

ANA Aircraft precision models.

Table calendars and attire.

Keychains and towels in A380 Flying Honu design.

ANA Corporate Scent aroma diffuser.

And now it gets bizarre:

ANA Hikouki Cava sparkling wine fine but they also sell frozen Inflight meals for 925 Yen per meal!

You can pick your favorite ANA Economy Class meal straight from the freezer and heat it up at home.

Plenty of tickers, key chains, lanyards, and baggage tags, not only with ANA but also Boeing logos.

If you want to buy something for the kids there are plenty of toys and even airplane socks.

And, of course, for the office, coffee mugs and tumblers. The GoTouch bear is also available.

ANA employees also get a discount at the store, and they have additional access to limited crew/employee items that aren’t available to the public.

I had fun looking through all this stuff for the 20 minutes or so that I had to wait for my bus and could have spent longer there. While I was browsing through the store, I wondered why I had never seen this before, but there is a backstory to that.

I arrived from Taipei and this was the first time at Tokyo-Haneda that I had a bus arrival. Passengers were then “dumped” at a bus arrival area at Terminal 2, which is usually domestic only.

There was a makeshift immigration area, no TTP machine and suddenly everyone had to fill in paper immigration forms again. People were confused and furious, it was a mess and of course those who had connecting flights or pickups at Terminal 3 stood there, totally perplexed.

I went to Shinjuku anyway, so I wasn’t really affected by this aside from the one time per year that I wanted to exchange cash money (Taiwan Dollars), and the domestic terminal obviously did not have any exchange counters available. At least this strange experience let me discover the ANA Festa store.

Apparently, there is a smaller one at the International Terminal as well.

Conclusion

If you’re into ANA All Nippon Airways then you will find everything under the sun at the ANA FESTA store at Tokyo-Haneda, Terminal 2. You can also order from a website but it’s only available in Japanese.

I was prepared for the regular AV Geek articles but that they even sell the corporate scent and frozen Economy Class meals threw me off. I really wouldn’t dream of buying these and making them at home. Not even for a relatively cheap 925 Yen.

Have you bought anything from ANA FESTA in Japan before?
