British Airways is bringing joy to many holiday travelers by canceling a total of 72 flights to/from London Heathrow for December 22, 2024.
The cancellations, for now, are mainly European rotations, and there can be more canceled flights as the day progresses.
You can access BA here.

Remember that BA is bound by the EC 261/2004 and UK 261 regulations and is required by law to provide Duty to Care and rebook affected passengers to their final destinations at the earliest opportunity + cash compensation unless the cancellation was something truly out of their control. Still, the airline is violating this law, as I experienced in October:

Conclusion
I don’t know what the situation is at London Heathrow this morning. The airport is generally incapable of scoping with a touch of snow, which, apparently, to the company operating the airport is an unusual activity in Northern Europe.
Unfortunately, these cancellations will cause disarray for many holiday travelers. If getting to your destination on time is a concern, I advise avoiding London Heathrow and British Airways.
